A third of planet Earth is named for Amerigo Vespucci. But why? Forget what you learned about a noble map-maker. Amerigo’s fame came from writing about the New World exactly as Europeans wanted to believe – hot naked girls, cannibals, dragons, pygmies, and an island of giant women.

Do you know what was, or were, the original name/s with which american people called their continent?
The only names I know that refer to the entire landmass are Abya Yala in Dulegaya, and similar Awya Yala in Runa Simi.
Is there evidence of people knowing about the entirety of America? Was there communication between south an north?
