Interstate and International US Migrants


Americans demanding that immigrants “Go back to where they came from” don’t seem to mind that 42% of Americans don’t live in their home state. Why is crossing one arbitrary line different from any other? If going home for the holidays means traveling across the country, you are a migrant too. Nationalism conditions us to accept that artificial borders are somehow meaningful, and that a person’s rights somehow depend on which side they come from. #NoOneIsIllegal
